His birthday is today and I told them when I made my reservation and they had a special dessert for him with the robot singing happy birthday. So special and it was just that simple thing that sets this place apart, they care about their customer experience and try to make it special. We had the hibachi, since my dad has never had it before, and I knew he’d absolutely love it. Our chef was awesome and entertaining, and had us laughing the whole time. Whoever they have bartending, they’re doing a fantastic job and make amazing mixed cocktails. Everything was incredible, and I’ve never been so excited for leftovers in my life. Can confirm heating them up in the frying pan tastes just like they did when first made last night. I will absolutely be back and bring more family members. We might have to stop by here from now on whenever any of us fly out of Midway because it’s just down the road. ”

My only complaint is that there wasnt really any interaction with the chef (no sake shots, no food tossed into our mouths, not really entertaining or interacting with the customers) , which is a large part of the hibachi experience. Be prepared to wait over an hour, even when they tell you it will only be 15 minutes. The food was delicious though. ”
“ The habachi experience is like no other! Food is always so so good! Other places charge extra for noodles or don’t have them or don’t let you share plates. Chi Tung’s lets me split my plate with both my kids at no extra charge. A must try!! I always forget to take a picture of my plate, but you get a lot of food; enough for leftovers!! ”
